Is it too late to wear red and green? Or is it just 10 months early? Either way, I’m happy to rock Christmas colors any time of the year.

I’m loving the shirt under a shirt look. It’s subtle, but I think it helps pull the outfit together. Layers are my new thing. I’m also loving the fact that I’ve made an outfit entirely out of non-tall clothes. It’s always a challenge for me to construct flattering outfits out of regular-sized clothes. Typically, skirts and tights are my go-to winter items because I don’t have to worry about length. Notice above how I rolled up my sleeves because they are too short. Just another day in the life of a tall woman!

If I were to wear this outfit again, I’d probably pair it with a black suede ankle boot. The flats I’m wearing have seen better days and I think an ankle boot would help to elongate my legs.

Readers: What tricks do you have to resort to when putting together a non-tall outfit?

So cute! I’m liking the shirt under a shirt look too. Definitely going to have to try that with those shirts where the sleeves are too short.

I like to wear knee high boots if my jeans are a little short or (my favorite) wear leggings underneath a dress when it is too short.
